SUBMISSION: THE OPEN DOOR PROJECT
“The Open Door Project” is our latest initiative to make our space more accessible and inclusive, and provide opportunities for local theatre makers and emerging production teams in KL to stage small-scale minimalist playlets (10-15 minute plays) for free at our fringe arts space, pangkin@ejklsseni, Wangsa Maju. The first volume for 2025 will be happening in April, and is open to FOUR (4) original playlets. interview: ejklsseni production Crew
ejklsseni is looking for various production crews for NINE (9) different theatre productions for our 2025 season between February and December 2025. Bear in mind that each production will require a commitment of 2-3 months per project. Successful applicants will be contacted by our Artistic Director for a specific time slot for interview. INTERVIEW: TYBE 2025 season
The Young Blood Experiment (TYBE) is EJKLS Seni’s in-house mentoring programme for new writer-directors of in KL. It is a high-commitment year-long mentoring programme, with EJKLS Seni’s founder and artistic director, Asyraf Syahir, as the main instructor. For 2025, we are looking for only FOUR (4) new writer-directors (with little to no experience in writing and directing stageplays) to be part our 2025 cohort.
